Research indicates the secondary reinforcing effect of nicotine use in teens can lead not only to other tobacco product use including combustible cigarettes but also to other substance misuse, as well as reducing their ability to take pleasure from other activities in the absence of nicotine.

This presentation will examine the newest evidence and current trends in youth nicotine use. Laura will also tell us what we can do if we suspect our teen is using nicotine products (e.g. JUUL).
