A Screening of Screenagers Next Chapter: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience

Back by Popular Demand! The spring screening of Screenagers Under the Influence brought with it a request to air the first two movies in this series. Decatur Parents Network invites you to this free community showing of the film Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience.

You do not need to reside in Decatur or have children who attend Decatur Schools. We include all who want to attend, including teenagers (recommended for 6th grade and above). We are all in this together.


Following the showing, a community discussion will be facilitated by 

Tickets are FREE but need to be reserved. This will ensure we have a seat for all as well as enough printed materials to share.

Film Synopsis:

"Filmmaker and physician Dr. Delaney Ruston takes the conversation around screens and teens to the next level with Screenagers NEXT CHAPTER: Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience—a film that examines the science behind teen’s emotional challenges, the interplay of social media, and most importantly, what can be done in our schools and homes to help them build crucial skills to navigate stress, anxiety, and depression in our digital age."
