It's easy to overdose. Most incidents are accidental, an unintended consequence of using counterfeit prescription or street drugs with unknown additives.
The substances causing these overdoses are many and easy to obtain.
Opioid overdoses (poisoning) are a concern across all age groups.
Fentanyl, an extremely dangerous drug, is increasingly found in all types of street drugs.
ANYONE can easily access many drugs online and at home!
Wherever the source or the cause of an overdose, IT IS POSSIBLE TO REVERSE and give someone an opportunity to create a life without drug use.

In 2014, Georgia passed the Medical Amnesty Law. This law stipulates, "that anyone seeking medical assistance for themselves or someone else for a drug overdose cannot be charged with a drug violation if the evidence of the drug violation results 'solely from seeking such medical assistance.'
