We have heard your concerns about alcohol (and other drug) use when youth gather in private spaces. To help address these concerns, join us and a panel of local experts to have a conversation about how parents can work together to make Decatur safer for all youth.
STOP HERE>>>>>Panelists etc will be listed below.
Let's talk about....
What is actually happening in Decatur?
What are my responsibilities when allowing youth to gather?
How do I communicate my expectations with those youth and their parents?
How do I set boundaries with my own child?
How much supervision is needed?
What if they do this when I am not at home?
Can my older child supervise my younger children while I am away?
Is taking the keys to keep everyone from drinking and driving a good strategy?
What are the liabilities for providing and/or allowing this on my property?
What if they sneak something in or take something without my knowledge?
Where are youth gathering besides private residences?
What is Decatur doing to enforce existing laws and ordinances?
