Juuling, Vaping, Edibles, the “Opioid Crisis,” and a host of other substance-use terms have become regular headline news.
Perhaps you have heard talk about these and other substances in use by youth within our community. Because #OurKids rely on us for information and guidance, as parents, teachers, and caregivers (with kids of any age) we need to stay informed. We need to know how to proactively protect #OurKids.
You are not alone trying to make sense of all of this. Please join us.

How many of #OurKids are doing this stuff?
How does all this talk about alcohol and substance misuse relate to our Decatur kids?
When and why do kids start misusing substances?
Is it that big of a deal?
What can I try to do to prevent the onset of substance misuse?
Does anything I say matter?
What do I do if I suspect something?
Where do I go for help?
